Drunk Kuwaiti couple held – Girl ‘runaway’

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 26: A young Kuwaiti couple (a man and his girlfriend) have been arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for recklessness and driving under the influence of alcohol, reports Al-Rai daily.

The man who was behind the wheel was ordered to pull over for committing traffic violence and while issuing a citation, police discovered the man and the woman were under the influence of alcohol.

Police have seized from their car a bottle of imported booze and psychotropic substances. They were arrested while driving along the King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz Road. The Al-Anba daily said the family of the woman had filed a missing persons report on her with the local authorities.
