Drugs likely cause as trio held in Iranian’s murder

KUWAIT CITY, March 11: A 1991-born Kuwaiti citizen was arrested along with two of his friends for allegedly murdering an Iranian expatriate behind Ardiya Cooperative Society on Thursday.

According to security sources, the suspects had fled from the location after murdering the victim. Farwaniya securitymen had then launched intensive investigations, and they manage to find the citizen and his two friends.

When questioned, the citizen confessed to stabbing the victim to death due to some problems between them. His two friends denied having any role in the murder. All suspects were referred to the Public Prosecution for necessary action. The sources indicated that the point of contention between them was drugs.
