Drug peddling driver; Drugs with Bedoun

KUWAIT CITY, June 14: Personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department have arrested an Asian driver working for a Kuwaiti family for trafficking in drugs, reports Al-Anba daily. Following a tip-off from an unidentified source, police then set a trap for the suspect and caught him red-handed selling drugs to a police agent. Police then armed with a search and arrest warrant searched the man’s room and found 150 grams of heroin and a quantity of meth.

Drugs with Bedoun: A wanted Bedoun man was arrested in possession of drugs and a weapon, says Al-Seyassah. According to security sources, Jahra securitymen were patrolling near a hotel in Jahra area when they suspected a vehicle and demanded the driver to stop. When he refused and sped away, securitymen chased him and eventually forced him to stop. They checked his details and discovered he is a Bedoun who is wanted by law for his involvement in many cases. They checked his vehicle and found seven sachets of a chemical intoxicant, one sachet of crystal meth, locally known as Shabu and a weapon.
