Drug dealer arrested with 30,000 pills in Jahra

KUWAIT, May 7: The Ministry of Interior announced that a drug dealer was arrested in possession of 30,000 Captagon tablets which he had smuggle in the country a month ago from a country for the purpose of trafficking was referred to the prosecution.

The authorities had kept an eye on him and were monitoring his moves where he was located in Jahra. He had rented a stable in the name of person who was outside the country and use to move in a vehicle which did not belong to him.

Week ago, the detective team sent a secret source to buy the pills from the dealer, to which he contacted the merchant directly and asked him to buy pills for a small amount. After the accused was assured of the source, he agreed to buy a large amount of narcotic pills accordingly financial transaction was prepared and permission from the prosecution was acquired to arrest, he was arrested at the agreed place to deliver along with the 30,000 narcotic pills.
