The Director of the Safety Department, Eng Al-Hamidi Al- Mutairi, said in a press statement the tour resulted in issuing several warnings to builders who had left behind construction waste and rubble. The director said legal proceedings will be initiated after the expiry of the warning period.

Al-Mutairi has called on owners of chalets to adhere to the municipality’s rules and regulations and warned against leaving behind construction debris by the contractor and the property owner to avoid legal measures being taken against them. For its part, the Public Relations Department of the Municipality has called on citizens to use ministry’s hotline 139 or the social networking sites of the Kuwait Municipality in case of complaints related to municipal affairs.
