Dog taken to US for treatment

KUWAIT CITY, March 30: A semi-paralyzed dog made its way to Richmond, US, Monday afternoon all the way from Kuwait City, reports Al-Rai daily.

The name of the female dog is Diamond and many months ago, it was hit by a car and left for dead. The animal survived the accident but lost one hind leg and the other was rendered useless as a result of which it dragged itself along the sands of Kuwait City.

That’s where Diamond met Sue Bell of the Northern Virginia rescue group Homeward Trails. Sue was in Kuwait helping dogs in need, but when she met Diamond, she knew that the dog was in desperate need of better care.
