Discounts during ‘White Friday’

Many stores in Kuwait are betting on the “Happy Friday” season to enhance and promote sales. The market witnessed the biggest wave of discounts exceeding 70 percent for certain goods and products including smartphones, clothes, cosmetics and electronics, reports Al-Anba daily.

The season of “White Friday”, which is called “Black Friday” in the USA kicked off on Thursday and continued until Saturday. The managers of some stores said they are expecting these discounts to contribute to increase in sales by 60 percent compared to the earlier periods, affirming that both the stores as well as the customers will benefit from such discounts.
