KUWAIT CITY, April 15: The detention renewal judge has ordered to extend until April 29 the detention of a lawyer and four Egyptians who are accused of abducting Lawyer Al-Halfi. The plaintiff alleged that the four Egyptians who abducted him had acted on the basis of directives issued by the accused lawyer at an offer of KD 1,000 for each abductor, stressing that God saved him that he was still alive when they reached a police checkpoint where the heinous act was exposed. He explained that he was outside his office in Sharq area when one of the Egyptians approached him and asked for somebody on the street, while another suspect impersonated a detective. When he demanded for identification of the impersonator, a knife was immediately placed close to his stomach and he was forced to move according to the orders given.
