Deportation for fake beggar of GCC nationality

KUWAIT CITY, June 26: A woman of GCC nationality was arrested and referred for deportation after she was caught visiting a number of houses in all governorates and begging under the pretext of suffering from cancer and having no one to support her, says Al-Seyassah.

According to security sources, when securitymen received information about a female beggar who has been knocking the doors of various houses and seeking financial assistance by pretending to be suffering from cancer, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah formed a team to observe and arrest the woman.

Securitymen monitored her movements and then caught her in action. They checked her details and discovered she is a GCC national who applied cream on her face and hands to claim she is suffering from cancer. They arrested her and referred to the concerned authorities. During interrogation, she revealed that she started begging three years ago, and she has been visiting diwaniyas and begging for money. Necessary procedures are underway for her deportation.
