KUWAIT CITY, April 14: The Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Minister of Social Affairs, Labor and Community Development, Dr. Mishaan Al-Otaibi, in his response to a parliamentary question by MP Dr. Muhammad Al-Huwaila, said the obstacles facing the projects included in the development plan can be summarized in the implications of the measures taken to contain the new Corona virus pandemic.
These measures prevented some experts and technicians from entering the country to supervise technical works and add to this the difficulty faced by workers and materials which take a lot of time to arrive at the work sites during the curfew or total ban periods. The reason for the delay in one of the projects is the failure to take a final decision to award the tender to the concerned party by the Central Tenders.
