Dashti 3rd in drag racing WCup finals

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 6, (KUNA): The Kuwaiti racer Bader Dashti came third in the 23rd annual Haltech World Cup Finals held at Maryland International Raceway in the US.

In a phone call with KUNA, Dashti said that the Import vs Domestic event came as expected and the races went smooth with participants from around the world creating fierce competition.

Dashti added that even though the weather conditions were not in their favor, the results were pleasing as he put maximum effort to get the highest position possible amidst a very competitive environment.

Director General of Basel Al-Sabah Motorsports Club, Saif Al-Mutairi told KUNA this event was exceptional and reflected the level of skills of the competitors in the races and the results came as expected, and looks forward to the coming events.

Al-Mutairi was very pleased with competition that was very professional, as the organizers found a way to create the proper environment and atmosphere for this sport to be experienced by all from around the world, and shed light on this modern sport which focuses purely on maximum speed.

The 23rd annual Haltech World Cup Finals – Import vs Domestic event is produced by the Miller Brothers Production (MBP) with 30,000 fans attending and the participation of 370 racers from 10 different countries.
