Dad called instead of ambulance – Man furious over school attitude

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 26: A Kuwaiti citizen has accused the administration of a school in Abdullah Al-Mubarak area of carelessness and “don’t care attitude”, as the school administration, instead of carrying out the needful procedure of taking an injured student to a hospital, called his father and asked him to take his injured son to the hospital, reports Al-Shahed daily.

The boy was seriously injured with a deep cut on his chin that required ten stitches. The father was surprised to receive a call from the school, demanding him to come to the school and take his son to a hospital for treatment as the latter was injured. He thought the injury would be minor but he was shocked to realize the injury was deep and was surprised by the management’s attitude as his son should have been taken immediately to the hospital to stop the bleeding. The distressed citizen said his son was bleeding profusely when he arrived at the school. Even after he took his son to the hospital, the citizen said the school administration did not bother to call and check on his son’s condition.
