KUWAIT CITY, Sept 18: Customs officers at the Doha port have seized two monkeys, a falcon and two Hubara (Bustard) birds from a dhow which arrived from Iran, reports Al-Shahed daily. The confiscated animals and birds have been referred to the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs & Fish Resources (PAAAFR).

‘Find my parrot’: In a strange incident, a young Kuwaiti living in Salwa reportedly called the area police station and requested the securitymen to look for his parrot which had apparently escaped from the cage, reports Al-Rai daily. The caller then went to the police station and filed a complaint accusing an unidentified person of stealing the bird.
