Over 150 thousand violators of different nationalities

KUWAIT CITY, March 25: In conjunction with the anticipation of a ministerial decision allowing expatriates to leave the country with the possibility of returning to the country and exempting them from paying the fines, informed security sources reported that the Ministry of Interior has selected a number of schools and allocated them to house the violators of residence laws, whose numbers are estimated at about 150 thousand violators of different nationalities, reports Al-Anba daily.

The sources confirmed that the Ministry of the Interior is in the process of implementing extensive campaigns in which other military agencies will participate. Those arrested will be housed in areas such as Jleeb, Khaitan, Farwaniya, Abu Halifa, Bneid Al-Qar, Al-Sulaibiya, Kabd, and Fahaheel.

The sources pointed out that the ban period is an opportunity for the Ministry of the Interior to arrest residence law violators and stressed on the need for citizens to cooperate in the Ministry of the Interior campaigns to pursue this segment, which poses a threat to security due to the lack of fixed sources of income
