KUWAIT CITY, Sept 12: The Misdemeanor Court acquitted a Kuwaiti citizen and his wife who were accused of real estate fraud after they decided to sell the house, which was given to them by the government, to a Kuwaiti woman under the condition that the selling process will be complete after the title deed is issued.

According to the case file, the couple received the title deed under their names, and then the husband decided to sell the house to his wife, contrary to the initial agreement made by the plaintiff (the initial buyer), in addition to accusing the wife of conspiring to commit crime. Representing the two defendants was Lawyer Enaam Haydar who said the wife was not part of the deal and that the only time her name appeared was during the issuance of the title deed. She highlighted that the sale of the real estate was under the condition that the house belongs to the couple.
