Coronavirus infection rises 1,341 infected ; 7 deaths

KUWAIT, March 2: Number of coronavirus recoveries in Kuwait rose by 964 over the past 24 hours putting whole figure of recuperated at 181,119, the Ministry of Health (MoH) said on Tuesday.

MoH official spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said in his regular daily press briefing that recovery of these cases was verified after conducting medical tests and adhering to standard steps in such conditions.
Proportion of the recovery cases of the overall infections amounted to 93.7 percent.

Dr. Al-Sanad added that 1,341 new infection cases were recorded in past 24 hours, raising the caseload of contaminations with the pathogen to 193,372, in addition to seven new deaths, putting the death toll at 1,092.
He has also revealed that there are 160 patients under treatment at intensive care units (ICUs), with the whole verified infection cases with ongoing attention amounting to 11,161.

He put number of swab tests, conducted over the past 24 hours, at 8,586 raising the whole figure of such examinations to 1.800,627, adding that the proportion of the tests of the infections reached 15.6 percent during the same duration (KUNA) —
