Corona virus suspends services of Philippines Embassy in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Jul 2: A staff from the Philippine embassy in Kuwait was tested positive for the Coronavirus (COVID-19). In accordance with the protocols of the World Health Organization and the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health, people in close contact with a COVID-19-positive have been quarantined for 14-days, the Embassy announced the suspension of its services effective from 2 July 2020, until 16 July 2020.

The Philippine Overseas Labor Office, and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (POLO-OWWA) are suspended from 2 July 2020 to 16 July 2020.

Embassy stated on its website that those with scheduled appointments with the Embassy on 2-16 July 2020 have been advised to wait for the call or message from the Embassy, preferably through WhatsApp, for the rescheduling of their appointments.
