KUWAIT CITY, May 16: Official data shows Kuwait’s consumption of petroleum products, especially gasoline, rises year after year despite the increase almost three years ago the prices of gasoline, diesel and kerosene, reports Al-Anba daily.

The data showed a boom in consumption of 95 Octane over the past years by 2.57 billion liters annually compared to consumption of 669.3 million liters, a record high of 285%.

In contrast, 98 Octane gasoline consumptions fell by 48 percent to a record low of 3.2 billion liters in 2015/2016 to 1.66 billion liters in 2017/2018, while gasoline also decreased its consumption from 97.2 million liters to 50.8 million liters a decrease of 48%.
