Construction violations razed in Capital – ‘No make-shift rooms, toilets’

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 13: A number of construction violators in the investment areas of Capital Governorate have started removing the violations detected by the Central Emergency Team, reports Al- Qabas daily. Head of the emergency team Zaid Al- Enezi revealed that a real estate owner had removed construction violations in Sharq area after a warning was issued to him about the violations.

He indicated that the existing violations are related to use of light materials for building rooms, kitchens and toilets, affirming that the control team is following up on these violations and applying the rules and regulations set by Kuwait Municipality.

Al-Enezi said the team launched a campaign on shops in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area to ensure they comply with the relevant regulations related to operations, and advertisements as well as the health authorities’ instructions concerning the use of masks and physical distancing. He revealed that 24 violations of health requirements were detected
