Move to scrutinize applications for specific specialties

KUWAIT CITY, July 12: Minister of Education Dr Hamed Al-Azmi recently issued two decisions to form a committee to recruit teachers from Tunisia and Jordan for academic year 2018/2019. The first decision stipulates the formation of a committee chaired by the Director of Capital Educational Zone Badriya Al-Khaldi and with membership of the First Director of French language Anwar Al-Kandari, Director of French Language Muhammad Al- Otaibi, First Director of Physical Education for Girls Lulwa Al-Jalahmah, Physical Education Director for Girls Fawzia Al-Faraj, and Coordinator of the Contracting Department Aisha Al- Ansari to interview and recruit teachers from Tunisia.

The second decision entails the formation of a committee to interview and recruit teachers from Jordan for academic year 2018/2019 from July 15-19. This committee will be chaired by the Director of Ahmadi Educational Zone Walid Al-Awmi and with membership of the First Supervisor of English language Maha Al-Ibrahim, First Supervisor of English language Aisha Al-Saqr, Supervisor of Physics Mahmoud Al-Hasmadi, Supervisor of Science Dalal Al-Masoud, and Coordinator of the Contracting Department Ashwaq Sultan.

The decision specifies the tasks of the committees with regard to scrutinizing applications for specific specialties and setting dates for interviews, in cooperation with the cultural attaché to determine locations for interviews in addition to the contract signing procedures with successful applicants. The ministry bears the cost of transportation, placement, and rental of the needed halls.
