Coast Guard DG commends Kuwait-Qatar military ties

Aim to exchange of experiences

KUWAIT CITY, July 14: Director General of Kuwait Coast Guard Major General Mubarak Al-Amiri expressed appreciation for the close military relations between the State of Kuwait and the State of Qatar.

In a press release, he highlighted the keenness of the leaders of the two countries to develop and enhance the bilateral military relations between the two countries in order to ensure safety, security and stability in the Arabian Gulf region.

Major General Al-Amiri said this during the inauguration of the new headquarters of the Coast Guard and Border Department in the State of Qatar (Al-Thaayen Marine Base).

The cooperation involves all branches of the army forces particularly the marine forces. It aims at exchange of experiences between the two countries. During the event, a documentary film about the Coast Guard and Border Department of the State of Qatar was shown.
