KUWAIT CITY, Nov 10: Coast Guard patrols confiscated 4,000 sheep in the middle of the sea due to suspicion that the animals came from Iran, in view of US sanctions on Tehran – trade embargo, reports Al-Qabas daily.Informed sources disclosed the shipment containing thousands of sheep has been stuck in the middle of the sea for three days.Other sources from the Coast Guard said it was a shipment of Iranian sheep, indicating the traders tried to send the sheep to the Sultanate of Oman in an attempt to circumvent sanctions imposed by the United States on Tehran on Nov 4.
