Caught in nick of time – Embezzled KD 300,000

KUWAIT CITY, April 7: Personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department have arrested an Arab man who had embezzled KD 300,000 from a company which had given him mandate to lease and collect rents from lessees, reports Al-Anba daily. He worked for a company whose activity is renting warehouses, and he had a mandate from the owner of the company to rent and distribute parcels of land owned by the company to smaller companies. The information confirmed that the suspect in collusion with others embezzled more than 300,000 dinars in the form of rents he collected from other companies, transferred it to his homeland and was planning to leave the country.
