KUWAIT CITY, Feb 24: An unidentified Iraqi woman through her lawyer has filed a complaint with the Jabriya Police Station accusing an unidentified car rental company of ‘stealing’ the car which she had rented from the company, reports Al-Rai daily.

In her complaint the woman filed a complaint accusing the company of taking the car, which was parked in the parking lot of the building where she stays, without informing her or rather without her permission. She also claimed in the car there 980 dinars cash money, a pair of expensive glasses and three rare perfume bottles.

When the company officials were summoned for interrogation, they said the woman had rented the car on Jan 21 and that until Feb 13, 2020 she had failed to pay the rental charges. However, the investigator ordered to register a case of theft against the company and summon the parties for investigation especially since the company ‘stole’ the car without informing her or filing a complaint against her with the concerned authorities.
