Call to relocate Egyptian Consulate

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 17:   MP Abdulwahab Al-Babtain has submitted a proposal to relocate the Consulate of Egypt from Al-Rouda to a place which is more suitable for serving the Egyptian community without causing traffic congestion and other inconveniences to residents. He said the residents in Al-Rouda have been complaining about the disturbance caused by visitors of the consulate.

Since the Egyptian community is considered one of the biggest in the country, traffic congestion and gatherings are common, in addition to security issues that might arise as the area is not suitable for a building which is part of a diplomatic mission, he explained.
