Britons nabbed for drinking alcohol

KUWAIT CITY, March 19:  Police have seized two British citizens working for a company in Mahboula for drinking alcohol and disturbing colleagues, reports Al-Shahed daily. The arrest came after the Lebanese manager of the company called the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry.

Liquor seized: Two Bedoun youths were arrested in Ahmadi area in possession of drugs and two bottles of liquor (one locally manufactured and other imported), says Al-Seyassah. According to security sources, Ahmadi securitymen were on patrol duty when they suspected a vehicle with two occupants and ordered the driver to pull over. They checked their details to discover they are Bedoun. Sensing their disoriented state, securitymen checked the vehicle to find drugs, two liquor bottles and drug paraphernalia.
