British PM in hospital for continuous fever

LONDON, April 5: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been admitted into hospital because he is still suffering from coronavirus symptoms, 10 Downing St. announced Sunday.

Johnson’s admission is a preventive measure, based on his doctor’s advice, and because he is still have fever, a Prime Minister’s spokeswoman said in a statement.


She underlined Johnson was still leading government’s measures to combat the pandemic and was indeed urging the public to abide by the Department of Health’s instructions, foremost social distancing and staying indoors.
Johnson confirmed on March 27 he was infected with the virus and stayed in self-quarantine. He has been running meetings through video-conferences.(KUNA) —
