LONDON, Nov 10: The British government said on Thursday that it had frozen Russian assets valued at a total of 18.39 billion pounds (USD 20.5 billion). The sanctions imposed on Russia since the Russian war on Ukraine involves more than 1,200 individuals and over 120 entities, with 19 banks' assets being frozen, the Treasury said in a press statement. The frozen Russian assets were six billion pounds more than the amount reported across all other British sanctions regimes, it added. (KUNA)
