Boy, girl flee family homes – Low marks in exams

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 14: An Egyptian student Mohammad, studying in 11th grade was found in Farwaniya after his father filed a missing persons report on him, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, when the son went to school and did not return, the father got worried and filed a report with the Farwaniya Police Station.

During interrogation, the boy who is a brilliant student said he always got more than 95 percent marks and this time managed only 93 percent aggregate. So felt disappointed and thought his family would criticize him. The boy has been handed over to his family after the latter promised not to criticize his performance.

In another incident a 16-yearold Arab girl who escaped from the family house for the same reason was found in the home of her family in Salwa, reports Al-Shahed daily. During interrogation she said she was afraid to go home because she had failed to do well in her exam. The girl has been referred to the authorities.
