KUWAIT CITY, July 25: Supermarkets and cooperative societies have relaxed the requirement for booking appointments for their customers to shop, reports Al-Qabas daily.

During a field visit to a number of supermarkets and cooperative societies, it was observed that shoppers could access these facilities without the need to book for “barcode” online.

However, the practice of taking body temperature before entering inside the supermarkets continues. An administrator of one of the supermarkets explained to the daily that their employees have been instructed not to pay attention to the presence of “barcode”, given that they work until 7 pm only and they are not open during the night time due to which they need to compensate sales during the day.

However, the health requirements are strictly implemented in terms of wearing gloves and face masks, and maintaining social distance. The number of customers at a single time is not big due to which there are no crowds
