KUWAIT CITY, April 7: Environmental police officers, who are monitoring the sea environment in cooperation with the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR), seized a tour boat as the crew members were found to be fishing illegally at Kuwait Bay using fishing nets.

The officers issued a citation to the crew of the boat which, along with the fishing nets, was handed over to Salmiya Center that is affiliated to PAAAFR. In a press statement, the Environment Police Department affirmed it will continue working with other concerned bodies to ensure that inspection campaigns are carried out regularly to track down all those violating the environmental regulatio
