KUWAIT CITY, March 14: The Criminal Court sentenced a famous Twitter user to three-year imprisonment with hard labor for using words which are deemed offensive to the entity of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait. The Public Prosecution had accused the Twitter user of insulting His Highness the Amir and transgressing the Amiri entity. The defendant had denied all charges that were leveled against him.
