“Black dollar scam” African gang arrested

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 28: The Ministry of Interior managed to arrest African expats who use to lure victims and cheat them with counterfeit dollars.

This gang had entered Kuwait before the airspace was shut, there were various reports on fraud cases which were increasing where victims were handed papers which looked like dollars.

The gang use to lure victims by persuading them that they would double the profit by exchanging and selling it according to the market price. For ten thousand dinars and use to hand over 60 thousand black papers which was suppose to be dollars.

A security source said that the gang members were arrested after monitoring and following their movements of the accused and those who help them. One of the sources was sent to them and plan was laid to ambush and arrest the three gang members with those who help them.
