Bid to woo a Kuwaiti lady

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 20:  A Kuwaiti woman filed a complaint at the Mubarak Al- Kabeer Police Station against a person who tried to incite her to commit immorality, says Al-Seyassah. The suspect is said to have sent indecent photos to the lady via mobile, in his vain attempt to reach her, after hanging up the phone. The lady provided the phone number of the suspect to the police, and investigation is underway to determine his identity and charge him for inciting immorality and wickedness. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti and an Egyptian woman engaged in a verbal confrontation following a two-vehicle collision. Upon arrival at the scene, traffic officers referred the two motorists to Hawalli Police Station for necessary action.

‘Mentally unstable’: The Criminal Court has upheld the request of the attorney Fahd Al-Haddad to refer his client the Egyptian doctor to the Psychiatric Hospital, reports Al-Anba daily. The Egyptian is accused of killing his Lebanese wife. The request was given approval after Al-Haddad presented to the court convincing evidence while pleading his case. The lawyer said his client is unstable mentally according to the testimony of those who are close to him. He pointed out what happened was unintentional. The accused is also said to have praised the ethics of his wife and called her honorable during the court sessions. In the meantime, the suspect’s children are currently undergoing psychiatric treatment abroad.
