Bid to prevent cable theft

KUWAIT CITY, May 6: Minister of Oil and Minister of Electricity and Water Bakheet Al-Rasheedi revealed that the ministry, in coordination with Ministry of Interior, has developed solutions to prevent thefts of electrical cables, reports Aljarida daily.
He revealed that Kuwaiti guards shall be deployed round the clock in power stations at Salmi, Sulaibiya, Kabad and Wafra areas, adding that contracts will be signed with security companies for this purpose.
