Bid to flee foiled – Drug peddler nabbed in Mangaf

KUWAIT CITY, July 28: Police have arrested an unidentified person and handed him over to the concerned authorities for in-depth interrogation, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily added, the suspect was arrested in Mangaf after he attempted to flee. It has been reported the man was carrying a bag on his back and a police patrol stopped by and asked the man for his ID.
At this point the suspect threw away the bag and took to his heels and disappeared among the buildings in the area, but he was chased and arrested. When police checked the bag they found inside sachets of various types of drugs including heroin, shabu and hashish. This is in addition to 20 iPhones, a Kuwaiti passport and an Egyptian identity card.
