Bid to break ATM

KUWAIT CITY, Jul 11: The Jahra police are looking for two men for allegedly attempting to steal money from an ATM machine of a local bank. The daily said when the personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) checked the CCTV footage of the bank it shows two men – one fat and the other slim – attempting to break into the machine.

According to a security when the suspects attempted to break into the machine, the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received an alert signal since all ATMs are linked to the Interior Ministry.

When police rushed to the spot they found severe damaged done to the ATM machine. The same source said the bank’s management confirmed the thieves were unable to steal money from inside the machine. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprint.(Al Anba)
