Beware of fake messages asking for money

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 23: The Ministry of Communications has called on citizens and residents to be beware of suspicious people who send text messages via e-mail or electronic links asking to pay fees for ‘non-existent’ shipments and post parcels, reports Al-Qabas daily. The daily quoting the ministry explained in a press statement, Friday, that “there are fake ‘people’ out there asking citizens and residents to pay money for parcels that do not ‘exist’.” The daily said the ministry has sounded an ‘alert’ on the ministry’s account on its social media sites.
