KUWAIT CITY, Jan 5: Securitymen have detained a Bedoun in Maidan Hawalli police station until the health condition of an Ethiopian woman who fell from his (Bedoun) flat in the fifth floor of an apartment improves to conclude investigations regarding the incident.

A security source said the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry was notified about an African expatriate who fell from the fifth floor of a building and landed on the sunshade mounted in front of the building by providence to avoid certain death.

She was referred to the Mubarak Hospital with severe injuries and additional fractures for treatment by paramedics that accompanied security operatives to the scene. Guard of the building had led securitymen to the flat of the Bedoun suspect (flat owner) after confirming the injured Ethiopian lady had accompanied the Bedoun to the flat. The suspect admitted she was in his company but denied pushing her from the building. He is expected to be questioned a second time by detectives.
