KUWAIT CITY, April 27: Majority of the banks are hoping for change in their official working hours during the month of Ramadan.

About 20 local and international banks in Kuwait are in support of this change, while only two banks prefer to leave the work timings unchanged, reports Al-Rai daily quoting informed sources.

They explained that the banking union is studying a proposal presented by majority of the banks for reducing the time period for receiving and serving clients by 30 minutes during the month of Ramadan.

Based on this proposal, the banks will receive clients between 10 am and 12 pm. The sources said the banks that support this proposal claim that this change in timing is in line with the preference and comfort of the clients.
