Bangladeshi ‘stabbed to death’ in Mangaf; Indian drowns at sea

KUWAIT CITY, June 14: A 1999-born Kuwaiti citizen was found dead in the bathroom of Zahra Park. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about a dead man inside the bathroom of Zahra Park, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location. They discovered that the deceased is a 1999-born Kuwaiti citizen. His corpse was referred to the Forensics Department for autopsy to determine the cause of his death. A case was registered.

Meanwhile, a 1994-born Bangladeshi expatriate was murdered in Mangaf area by an unknown individual who stabbed him four times in his midriff. Security sources explained that the caretaker of a building told the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior that a Bangladeshi tenant was lying dead inside his room and that he saw the corpse through the window of the room. Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location and discovered that the victim was murdered. They found four stab wounds in his midriff. His corpse was referred to the Forensics Department and a case of intentional murder was filed. Investigations have been launched to find and arrest the murderer.

In addition, the corpse of a 1990- born Indian expatriate was recovered from Khairan Sea. Security sources said the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the drowning of the victim while he was swimming with his friends. Immediately, securitymen, marine rescue officers and paramedics were dispatched to the location. The corpse was recovered and referred to the Forensics Department. A case was registered.
