KUWAIT CITY, Nov 13: A Bangladesh messenger who works for a senior official in the Ministry of Interior has been summoned for interrogation for insulting an inspector at the Car Testing Technical Department in the Farwaniya Governorate because he refused to pass his car, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The suspect was summoned for interrogation after the inspector filed a complaint with the Sabah Al-Salem Police Station. In the complaint the inspector said the Bangladeshi came to the Vehicles Testing Center in Sabhan and when the inspector refused to pass his transaction because the vehicle was not road worthy, he got angry and insulted the inspector.

Asian liquor peddler nabbed: Andalous policemen arrested an Asian expatriate for peddling in local alcohol and seized 147 bottles of the contraband in his possession. Security sources said the Asian had aroused suspicion of the police when they spotted him loitering in the area late at night.
They confiscated 147 of bottles of local brew after which he confessed selling them to his compatriots. In a similar incident, two other Asians were nabbed in possession of 12 bottles of local booze in Jleeb area. They were referred to concerned authorities for necessary action.
‘Deport Lankan call-provider’: The Farwaniya police have referred a Sri Lankan woman to the Deportation Center for violating labor and communications law, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, the woman was caught red-handed running a den to sell overseas calls for a throwaway price
