Bangladeshi arrested for immoral activities; Securitymen seize 312 bottles of liquor 3 Indians, 2 Nepalese arrested

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 21: Acting on information and armed with a search and arrest warrant issued by the Public Prosecution, police from the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh police station recently raided an apartment in the area and took into custody a Bangladeshi for using the apartment for immoral activities, reports Al-Anba daily. It has been reported at the time of arrest police also found a 34-year old Asian prostitute living with the man and another man who had gone to seek flesh pleasure.

3 Indians, 2 Nepalese arrested: Three Indian expatriates were arrested in Mahboula area in possession of 114 bottles of locally manufactured liquor. According to security sources, Ahmadi securitymen were patrolling Mahboula area when they noticed three men standing near a vehicle that was parked in a lot. As soon as they noticed the patrol vehicle, they started running but securitymen chased them and managed to arrest them. They checked their details to discover they are Indian expatriates and the vehicle belonged to one of them. They checked the vehicle to find 114 bottles of locally manufactured liquor.

When questioned, they confessed that they have been selling liquor to their clients at KD 2.5 per bottle. The suspects were referred with the liquor bottles to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action. Also, acting on information and armed with a search and arrest warrant issued by the Public Prosecution, the Mubarak Al-Kabeer police raided an apartment in the area and arrested 2 Nepali men for bootlegging, reports Al-Anba daily.

Police have confiscated from the men 198 bottles of locally manufactured liquor and equipment used in making the alcohol. The contraband and the suspects have been referred to the General Department for Drugs and Alcohol Control.
