Badminton Kings Club holds 2nd TVS Cargo Hala February Badminton Tournament

Badminton Kings Club held its 2nd TVS Cargo Hala February Shuttle Badminton Tournament 2020 Cup, which turned out to be a huge success.

The matches of the tournament were held under four categories – Professional, Advanced, Intermediate, and Higher Beginners. They were all held within a single day at an indoor badminton court in Riggae area. Around 100 people were present at the event to watch the tournament and support the participants.

The challenging elimination round was held in the morning, and the quarterfinals, semifinals and final matches were in the afternoon.

In the Professional category, Aneef K. Latheef and Bastian James emerged victorious, and Arshad and Chris Sijo were the runners-up.

The champions in the Advance category were Binoy Thomas and Liju Thomas, and the runners-up were Gouri Sankar and Sadham Hussain.

Naji and Nasi were the champions in the Intermediate category, and Sadiq and Ismail the runners-up.

In the Higher Beginners category, Halick and Ebin Shijo came out as the champions, and Asheer and Majeesh as the runners-up.

The umpires of the matches were Jahir Hussain, Sadham Hussain, Abdul Hassan, and Saravanan. The matches were controlled by Hars Nesu, Muthu Kumar, Gouri, and Rosario.

After the matches ended, an award ceremony was held. Cash prizes and trophies were handed out to the winners by the TVS Cargo Manager Y. Feroz Khan and Marketing Manager Gangai Gopal.
