KUWAIT CITY, Aug 4: The campaign titled “bachelor eviction”, which kicked off in July 2019, has resulted in the evacuation of bachelors from 119 houses after warnings were issued to the owners of these houses, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
The Public Relations Department of Kuwait Municipality explained that bachelors have been evacuated from 119 houses in private residential areas after electricity supply to these houses were cut off. This is just part of the 558 houses that the relevant teams of inspectors have earmarked for the campaign.
The campaign will continue under the supervision of the committee for minimizing bachelors living in private residential areas. It is progressing as per the prepared schedule in coordination with relevant state bodies such as Ministry of Electricity and Water, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Interior and Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI). The department highlighted the keenness of Kuwait Municipality to respond to complaints received via the hotline No. 139 or on its account on social media. It urged all citizens and residents to cooperate with the concerned departments of Kuwait Municipality.
