KUWAIT CITY, Sept 27 : The series of attacks on the medical staff in government hospitals and polyclinics continue to happen despite the issuance of laws and toughening punishments on aggressors, reports Al-Rai daily. The question is: who will protect the doctors and the rest of the employees of the Ministry of Health from the insults of visitors, and how the relationship between the patient and the doctor is established?Does it require that the Ministry of Interior, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, place a policeman at the door of each examination room? Many questions came to mind yesterday when a citizen recalled the unfortunate scene about the attack on doctors and wave of insults when a female Kuwaiti doctor at a health center became another victim just because she was keen to enforce the law.The citizen insulted and verbally abused the doctor in front of the visitors and patients, which forced her to file a complaint against the man.
