KUWAIT CITY, Nov 19: An Asian man died while five other individuals, including two citizens, sustained injuries due to a horrific accident on Road 290 in Kheiran. The Asian man’s body was referred to Forensics and the injured were admitted to Adan Hospital. In another accident, three people working at the US Army base in Kuwait sustained injuries when their car collided with an unrestrained horse along Liyah Road (Kilometer 21).
Police and paramedics rushed to the scene. The injured were first taken to the Military Hospital affiliated to the US Army and then to Jahra Hospital.
Sri Lankan injured: A Sri Lankan expatriate sustained injuries when he was hit by a Japanesemade vehicle driven by an Egyptian expatriate in Jleeb Al- Shuyoukh area. The victim was referred to Farwaniya Hospital for treatment and the Egyptian motorist was referred to the police station for investigations. Meanwhile, two vehicles collided on Ghazali road resulting in heavy traffic congestion. However, no injuries were reported.
When the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the accident, securitymen rushed to the location and launched investigations to determine the cause of the accident. The vehicles were shifted from the road and traffic was organized.
