KUWAIT CITY,May 28: The Customs officers at the Kuwait International Airport have arrested an unidentified Asian and an Arab national for attempting to smuggle cannabis, meth drugs and narcotic pills, reports Al-Rai daily.

A member of the customs information committee, Nawaf Al- Matar, said the T5 inspection equipment gave a sign about the presence of strange objects among the luggage of the Asian who arrived from his home country and found 590 rolls of meth drugs familiar in Asian country each roll a piece of cannabis.

Al-Matar added that the suspect and the seizure have been referred to the General Department of Drugs Control. Meanwhile, a passenger who arrived from an Arab country at Terminal 4 has been arrested for attempting to smuggle in the country a quantity of pills suspected to be narcotic, and two pieces of hashish.
