Arrests made in raid on ‘suspicious’ campsite

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 13: A team from the Kuwait Municipality stormed a camp on the outskirts of Ahmadi and seized a variety of imported alcohol and equipment indicating the camp was exploited to carry out suspicious acts, reports Al-Anba daily.
The daily added the Research and Investigation Department of the Ahmadi Governorate has been notified of the arrests and that the camp owner has been referred to the Prosecution.
According to a security source, the camp was stormed after one of the citizens informed the concerned authorities of the inconvenience caused by loud noise and periodical singing
