Amir congratulates Trump on Independence Day

KUWAIT CITY, July 4, (KUNA): His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a congratulatory cable Tuesday to American President Donald Trump on his country’s 241st independence anniversary.

His Highness the Amir praised the distinguished historical and strategic ties between the two countries and lauded efforts to extend bilateral cooperation. His Highness the Amir wished President Trump and his country all progress and prosperity during the “Fourth of July” celebrations.

His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah also sent similar cables. Meanwhile, the Speaker of the National Assembly Marzouq Ali Al- Ghanim sent on Tuesday cables of congratulation to US Speaker of the House of Representatives Paul Ryan, President of the Senate Mike Pence, and President pro tempore of the Senate Orrin Hatch on the 241st anniversary of US Independence Day.
